The Mostest

The Mostest’s self-titled debut marks the beginning of Ransom’s musical partnership with bassist and producer, Patrick Pearsall—a relationship that has yielded four CDs to date. Stripped-down but electrified, Mark’s work with Patrick and drummer Tony Houston presents shades of “Heavy Americana”—a power trio landing somewhere between the folk scene and jam-band culture. The Bend, Oregon cult-classic, “God Bless the Taco Stand” (written by Mark Fesche and Eric Ransom) lives eternally here in the digital realm, featuring backing vocals by Eddie Stern, and the wizardry of cousin Eric on lead guitar.
