Ocean in the Air

Promoting the release of Man of My Word (1998), an acoustic trio took shape featuring Zack Mondry on bass fiddle, Todd Volkenand on mandolin, and Mark Ransom on acoustic guitar. A prolific year produced more than enough songs for a new CD, and the Rhythm Beans were invited to record at the Art Institute of Seattle. Ocean in the Air offers the relaxed sound of the Beans having fun in a 24-track analogue studio, as well as Feshe’s work on the title cut, and two songs penned by Mark’s cousin, Eric Ransom: “Holistic Sanctuary” and “Through the Night.”
